James Maibach started in commercial real estate with Peyco Properties Inc. in 1984. As an active developer, Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, Certified Texas Appraiser, Certified Property Manager and Licensed Property Tax Consultant of all types of real estate property since 1986, James now leases and manages over 2 million square feet of industrial/commercial, retail, and office space in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

James is very active in numerous business and professional organizations and has received many awards for his leadership in community projects. He has been the recipient of the Tom Vandergriff Leadership Award presented by the Young Men of Arlington for his outstanding commitment to the City of Arlington. James served on the City of Arlington’s Planning and Zoning Commission giving him the experience of working with City officials and becoming knowledgeable when dealing with planning, platting, and zoning of different properties. Currently, James serves on the Board of Directors for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and Southwest Securities, FSB. James was recognized by the Star-Telegram Newspaper as Man of the Year in 1993 for his Arlington Community involvement. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Margarita Society of Arlington, which supports disadvantaged youth in Arlington. James has served on the Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board gaining valuable experience and knowledge of how to fight property tax valuations. He is on the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and has previously served on the Arlington Parks and Recreation Board. James has been serving on the AISD Education Foundation for the past 10 years and was president of the foundation from 2005 to 2007. He is also a former graduate of Leadership Arlington.

Because of James Maibach’s track record of leadership, creativity, integrity, and success in the Arlington Community, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Council awarded Peyco Southwest Realty Inc. with the Outstanding Small Business of the Year award in 2008. His knowledge of the market and his networking throughout the metroplex has made Peyco Southwest Realty one of the leaders in commercial real estate industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
